Today is ANZAC Day and it is a special day for not only Australian and New Zealand people, but also for the Turkish people. On this day 98 years ago, Australian and New Zealand troops landed at Gallipoli, and officially joined World War One. Many lives have been lost over the countless wars this world has seen, both innocent citizens and those out protecting their country. I hope everyone has taken the time today to reflect upon the sacrifices made by defence personnel both past and present, and gone out to a dawn service or a march. If not, hopefully next year! Lest we Forget!
